In honor of Bangtan's second anniversary on June 13, bangtanexchange will be hosting our second fanworks fest! This time around, our fest is centered around a specific theme: Bangtan's discography.

how it works

To participate, all you have to do is take any BTS song of your choice and create a fanwork (fic or art) inspired by it. Your work can be based on anything from a music video to a single line in a song- feel free to be as literal or as vague as you want. We have included examples here to show what kind of fanwork we are looking for:

Fanart inspired by the restaurant scenes in the I NEED U music video.

V/Jimin fic based on 95 Graduation.

Fic about J-Hope is a food tour guide in Gwangju, inspired by Satoori Rap.

Please note that these are just examples and are not meant to be restrictive. For the purposes of this exchange, Bangtan's discography is defined as any official release, such as any song off of a single/mini album/album, any songs posted to soundcloud/BTS blog/youtube including covers, and any solo songs including predebut releases. Songs that feature a BTS member as a supporting artist are not included. If you have any questions about which songs are allowed, please comment down below.

There is no minimum requirement for fanworks, and you are free to submit more than one fic or piece of art. (Or as many as you like!) See below for details about how to submit your fanworks. We ask that participants do not crosspost their works until after our reveals.

The creation period will start on May 13, with fanworks revealed on June 13 and a week-long amnesty period until June 20 for any additional works. You do not have to sign up to participate in this fest. Any announcements and reminders will be posted on our twitter account, @bangtanexchange.
