After almost two weeks of excellent fics, we are bringing BTSX 2017 to a close! It's our fourth consecutive year running this exchange and we're so pleased with our turnout of 62 fics (including an unexpected amount of longfics).

We would like to thank our pinch hitters who stepped in and offered to help, some at the very last minute:

arysthaeniru,

jonghyunslisterine,

onyu,

superlyns, and

vminism. Special thanks to

flitter and

martinnn, who wrote pinch-hits on top of their regular submissions. We really appreciate all their hard work in keeping this exchange up and running. Finally, we'd like to thank our participants for their constant patience, enthusiasm, and encouragement—and a special shout-out to those of you who have been with us for all four years! ♥

You are now free to crosspost and promote your fics as you please! To ensure that your fics get the attention they deserve, we also encourage those of you who haven't yet to change the publication date on your AO3 fics to make sure they get a chance on the first page of the BTS tag. If you need any assistance with this, please reach out to us.

And now it's time for the reveals!

After two weeks of excellent fics, BTSX 2016 must come to a close. We wrote in our mod post last year that we were excited about our growth. Never did we imagine that a year later we'd more than double our final fic output. In three years we've gone from 19 fics to over 70 in our exchange and we couldn't be happier with the turnout.

We are indebted to our pinch hitters:

shrdmdnssftw,

busan_brat,

girltalk. We'd also like to thank

dirtyretro and others who offered to step in at the last minute. Finally, I'd like to thank our participants for their patience, enthusiasm, and encouragement- and a special shout-out to those of you who have been with us for all three years! ♥

You are now free to crosspost and promote your fics as you please! To ensure that your fics get the attention they deserve, we also encourage those of you who haven't yet to change the publication date on your AO3 fics to make sure they get a chance on the first page of the BTS tag. If you need any assistance with this, please see our email for instructions!

BTSX 2016 SIGN-UPS
(CLOSED)

Thanks for your interest in the third annual

bangtanexchange Valentine's Day Exchange.

After consideration over the last month, we have decided this year that we are going to change the sign-up process in order to best fit the needs of the BTS fic community. There has been, especially in the last year, a huge increase in the amount of BTS fic that is posted primarily on AO3.

As such, for this round (and possibly for future rounds, depending on how smoothly things run) sign-ups will be conducted on AO3. Under the cut, you'll find more information about how the sign-up process will work. If you do not have an AO3 account and would like an invitation, please let us know! You do not have to have an account to participate- email us if this is the case.

bangtanexchange will still be our homebase for posting information and fics will be crossposted here as well during the course of the exchange. Any other announcements will be posted to our twitter account, @bangtanexchange.

Author's notes: written for bangtanexchange’s 2nd anniversary discography festa! based off of Bangtan’s “Where Did You Come From?” from Skool Luv Affair. also inspired by the story where Jin finds Jungkook sleeping in random places- including underneath their kitchen table...
