After almost two weeks of excellent fics, we are bringing BTSX 2017 to a close! It's our fourth consecutive year running this exchange and we're so pleased with our turnout of 62 fics (including an unexpected amount of longfics).

We would like to thank our pinch hitters who stepped in and offered to help, some at the very last minute: arysthaeniru, dickmilk, hyemiyah, jonghyunslisterine, onyu, riveting, superlyns, and vminism. Special thanks to flitter and martinnn, who wrote pinch-hits on top of their regular submissions. We really appreciate all their hard work in keeping this exchange up and running. Finally, we'd like to thank our participants for their constant patience, enthusiasm, and encouragement—and a special shout-out to those of you who have been with us for all four years! ♥

You are now free to crosspost and promote your fics as you please! To ensure that your fics get the attention they deserve, we also encourage those of you who haven't yet to change the publication date on your AO3 fics to make sure they get a chance on the first page of the BTS tag. Thanks for your interest in the third annual bangtanexchange Valentine's Day Exchange.

After consideration over the last month, we have decided this year that we are going to change the sign-up process in order to best fit the needs of the BTS fic community. There has been, especially in the last year, a huge increase in the amount of BTS fic that is posted primarily on AO3.

As such, for this round (and possibly for future rounds, depending on how smoothly things run) sign-ups will be conducted on AO3. Under the cut, you'll find more information about how the sign-up process will work. If you do not have an AO3 account and would like an invitation, please let us know! You do not have to have an account to participate- email us if this is the case.

bangtanexchange will still be our homebase for posting information and fics will be crossposted here as well during the course of the exchange. Any other announcements will be posted to our twitter account, @bangtanexchange.

After almost two weeks of excellent fics, we finally bring BTSX 2015 to a close! We've seen some incredible growth in our second year and while at times we have often felt like someone balancing on a ball while juggling trying to mod this thing, it has been a great experience. Last year we had 19 fics- this year we have over 30! In all, about 250,000 words were written for this exchange. ‼

We would like to especially thank our pinch hitters for stepping up to the plate as they were needed: teddyescher, bcnf3nf, chansoos, cyphers, mediest, and an anonymous user, three of whom volunteered without even originally signing up to participate. Their hard work is most graciously appreciated! Without pinch hitters, we would be fucked. We'd also like to thank our participants for being flexible, patient, responsive, and encouraging! ♥

As we bring our third event to a close, we would like to say that we welcome any and all feedback. You can comment here, send us an email or PM, or comment on our mod post if you would like to share any suggestions or concerns with us. We aim to please.
